Goa beaches soon to have co-working spaces

Hey there, travel bugs! Calling all you remote workers and freelancers - Goa just got even more awesome!

The state's tourism department just announced that they're setting up co-working spaces on Morjim and Ashwem beaches. This means you can finally ditch your stuffy home office and get those emails done with the sound of waves crashing in the background. Talk about a dream work view!

So, you can soak up the sun, enjoy the beaches, and get your work done all at the same time. Sounds pretty sweet, right?

This whole initiative is part of a bigger plan to make Goa more than just a beach party destination. The goal is to attract more European tourists and high rollers, to give them more reasons to visit Goa and extend their stay. Co-working spaces are just one piece of the puzzle. They're pushing the concept of "regenerative tourism" which means involving local communities, culture, food, festivals, and even farmers in the whole tourism experience.

Think exploring ancient temples, visiting spice plantations for farm-to-table feasts, and maybe even getting pelted with tomatoes during a traditional Goan festival (they call it Chikhal Kalo, way cooler than La Tomatina, for sure). ️

The co-working spaces are still under construction on Morjim and Ashwem beaches, but they're expected to be ready soon. As for the nomad visas, the government's already talking to the bigwigs in Delhi to make it happen. So, keep an eye out for updates, and start planning your ultimate workstation trip to Goa!

Who needs a boring office when you can have the beach as your coworker, right?
