UNESCO Adds 6 New Madhya Pradesh Destinations to Tentative World Heritage Sites List

Six heritage sites from Madhyapradesh in the tentative UNESCO list!

The new list of sites includes Gwalior Fort, the Historical Group of Dhamnar, Bhojeshwar Mahadev Temple, Rock Art Sites of Chambal Valley, Khooni Bhandara in Burhanpur, and the God Memorial of Ramnagar in Mandla.

1. Gwalior Fort

Located in the city of Gwalior in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior Fort is one of the most magnificent forts in India. It stands on an isolated rock outcrop overlooking the Gwalior city.
