F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024: Everything you need to know!

Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of high-speed action and world-class entertainment at the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix, taking place from September 20-22 at the iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit in downtown Singapore. This event is not just a race; it's a festival of lights, music, and adrenaline. Here is everything you need to know!

Essential Information for Race Weekend

Entrance & Access:

  • Gate Opening Times: The circuit gates will be open from 13:45 to midnight on September 20 and 21, and from 14:45 to midnight on September 22.

  • Access Gates: There are ten access gates with express lanes for those entering without a bag. Large items and outside food/drinks (except for one empty plastic bottle up to 600ml) are not permitted.

  • Circuit Zones: The Marina Bay Street Circuit is divided into four zones. Zone 1 is the most desirable, featuring the pits, Singapore Flyer, Wharf Stage, and prime grandstands. Ensure your ticket includes Zone 1 access if you want the best experience.

Getting Around:

  • Singapore Flyer: Rides are available for Zone 1 and Zone 2 ticket holders. (Closed for public)

  • 13:45: Gates Open

  • 15:30-18:00: F1 Academy Practice & Qualifying

  • 19:45-20:45: Thirty Seconds to Mars (Wharf Stage, Zone 1)

  • 21:00-22:00: Formula 1 – Free Practice 2 (FP2)

  • 22:15-23:45: OneRepublic (Padang Stage, Zone 4)

Saturday, September 21:

  • 13:45: Gates Open

  • 16:30-17:30: Kool & The Gang (Wharf Stage, Zone 1)

  • 19:30-20:50: The Corrs (Wharf Stage, Zone 1)

Support Categories:

  • F1 Academy and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia will also be racing. Fans can enjoy these support races and view paddocks at specified times.

Concerts & Performances: From A-list performances by OneRepublic and Kylie Minogue to classic hits from The Corrs and Kool & The Gang, the Grand Prix offers an eclectic mix of music. Don't miss out on the various stages featuring live music and entertainment throughout the weekend.

Food, Drink & Amenities

The circuit offers a range of food and drink options, with hawker villages serving delicious Asian fare like satays, noodles, and curries. Prices for meals are around $15 SGD, with beer costing approximately $16 SGD and water around $3 SGD. For budget-friendly options, check out eateries outside the circuit. Note that food and alcohol cannot be brought back into the circuit.
